Not only cashmere, especially in summer.

20/04/2023 | NATASCIA BRESCIANI

We've said it before: cashmere can be worn in the summer ! Indeed, one of the natural characteristics of this fiber is its function thermoregulator , which keeps us warm in winter and cool in summer.

This is why we will never get tired of repeating that a light stole, a cardigan or a pullover in extra fine cashmere are the perfect complement even for summer outfits.

However, if you prefer in warm weather make room for other fibers natural, here is a selection of garments for you  silk, linen and cotton to show off with your favorite looks.

The timeless

Let's start from a super basic and therefore always current model, the polo . What we propose is in stockinette stitch silk yarn,  with contrast collar. An evergreen in an elegant key, able to give an extra touch to any outfit, casual or elegant. How to wear it? Cheeky, with a short and colorful skirt, or more ladylike, over a wide mid-calf full skirt (perhaps matching the color of the collar!

The Jersey

Linen yarn with stockinette stitch for the pullover with suede fringes and three-quarter sleeves , to be worn on cooler evenings. Jeans, chinos or skinny pants will be the perfect complements to this very versatile garment, to be worn on any occasion. This pullover can also be declined in a casual or elegant version, as our suggestions show.

The unusual Poncho

We close this roundup of garments made with more summery yarns with the linen poncho . Again, we suggest you think of it not only as an alternative outerwear, to wear when it's colder, but as an integral part of your outfit. For those who love to dare, there is also the variant with lurex thread : the result will be truly glamorous!

And if you want to follow the our initial advice … voilà: effortless elegance!
